Glossary
Glossary: a workflow is the review process content and pages go through before they are published, with approval requests, approvals and declines.
A workflow controls the review process content goes through before it is published. When approvals are turned on for a page or a content list, an editor requests approval, a reviewer is notified and approves or declines it (declined items go back with notes), and approved content can then be published.
Approvals are enabled per page (Requires Approval in its properties) and per content list (Enable Approval Workflow in its developer settings). Who can approve and publish depends on each user's role.
Also called: approvals, approval workflow.
