Glossary
Glossary: Staging content is saved but not yet live and can be previewed. Published content is live on your site. Other content states are listed too.
Staging and Published are the two main states of a content item or page. Staging content has been saved but not yet published, including new changes to content that is already live. It can be previewed but does not appear on your live site. Published content is live and viewable on your site.
When you edit published content, your changes are saved as a new Staging version while the published version stays live until you publish again. Other states are New (never saved), Unpublished (removed from the live site), Scheduled, Expired, Awaiting Approval, Approved and Declined.
Also called: content states.
