Glossary: the Content Management API is Agility's REST API for writing: saving content and pages, uploading media, running workflow and managing webhooks.
The Content Management API lets you work with Agility programmatically: save, publish, unpublish and delete content items and pages, request and give approvals, upload media, and manage URL redirections and webhooks. It is used for content imports, integrations and automation outside the Content Manager.
Most writes don't happen during your request: they are queued as a batch, and the API returns a batch ID to poll. Scripts and pipelines often authenticate with a personal access token. The JavaScript and .NET Management SDKs wrap the API.
