Glossary: an asset is a file, such as an image, PDF or video, uploaded to the Agility asset manager and served by URL over a global CDN.
An asset is a static file, such as an image, PDF, audio or video file, uploaded to your instance's asset manager. Assets are served over a global CDN, from the server closest to each visitor, and are accessed by URL.
You organize assets in folders and sub-folders, or group them in galleries. Content and components reference assets through image, file and gallery fields, and the Management API can upload them for you.
