Hosts:
James Vidler, VP Product at Agility CMS.
James has been building websites for the better part of a decade and currently leads the product team at Agility CMS. He's high on JAMstack and its promise for a faster web. On the side, he's also a Virtual Reality developer and publisher. James is a dog person.
Charles Ouellet is the brains behind the entire Snipcart operation.
Charles built a product for a client who wanted an e-commerce solution for their site. The problem? The site had old code that, frankly, Charles didn’t want to mess with. So, he built an HTML/JS shopping cart that could be integrated without dusting off any of that old code. Even with 16 years of experience (if we include his glory days of HTML/PHP back in high school), it was still a major task. But with a lot of blood, sweat, and digital tears, he personally wrote the code for Snipcart v1.0. The rest is, as they say, history.
Flor Antara, Software Engineer, organizer of the Seattle JAMStack meetup.
